Reflecting on my childhood, I see two distinct paths for our family memories. My father, a talented craftsman, enriched my life with magical moments, imprinting his creativity and love into my heart. However, these vivid memories exist solely in my mind, never captured in photographs. They will vanish with me, a piece of our history forever lost.
In contrast, there’s another narrative—a cherished family tradition. In the pre-digital era, I crafted an annual family photo card, a heartfelt gift connecting us with loved ones. It wasn’t just a card; it became a timeless snapshot of our family’s journey, a source of immense joy.

Ahead of the COVID trend, I have been making my own sourdough bread for multiple years. I enjoy rediscovering my Belgium roots through making Belgium pastries. But most of all, I have always enjoy making food that is both delicious and nutritious.

My family! My husband, kids, grandkids, siblings and parents are absolutely everything to me. I am thankful for God and his loving kindness. And of course, I can’t forget the wonderful communities I belong to like my church, my neighbourhood and this supportive online community.
